Student Batik Carnival Fantastic

MERIAH - Student Batik Carnival in Pekalongan Palace stadium was successful and vibrant.

KRATON - Student digelarnya Batik Carnival (SBC) in Pekalongan Palace Stadium, which was first held in Pekalongan fantastic and vibrant, Sunday (30/10).
Eighteen participants from primary schools, junior high school until high school that, enthusiastically following the Pekalongan Radar event held in cooperation with the Axis, in order to commemorate the Day of the World Batik.

Participants who had prepared themselves since 0600 as though it could not wait to travel early by wearing a variety of attributes that are made of batik.
Of course it adds kesemangatan the committee in preparing for all his show as good as possible.
For that Vice-Chairman of the Parliament Ismet Inonu, accompanied by GM Radar Pekalongan Ade Asep Syarifudin, was asked to start flying the flag as a sign of the commencement ceremony Student Batik Carnival (SBC) 2011.
The convoy participants seemed warmly welcomed by people who had since morning waiting at the curb to watch the various works of participants of the base material of batik.
Some are just plain uniforms that looks compact, until there is a group of participants who make various decorations with batik basic materials, such as decorative peacocks, king and queen ornate batik.
There are even decorated with batik clothes soldiers. Accompanied by music that was brought by rickshaw to the car by each group of participants. Of course it adds to the festive event.
Rosikin, events SBC Chairman of the Committee stated, that the mat as a support against the Axis and Radar Pekalongan batik in Pekalongan, which is now recognized by UNESCO.
Because, according to him, batik as a cultural heritage must be maintained and passed on to posterity of the nation, in order to understand the ancestral culture that has long existed.
"Batik should be introduced to the children and grandchildren as early as possible, so they will know and understand the significance of cultural heritage for bagsa and state."
He hopes the title SBC will develop young people's attention and love to batik, especially in Pekalongan, famous for its batik.
"With atraktifnya participants using a variety of unique batik Pekalongan. We really appreciate all. This indicates that the school in Pekalongan very creative. Because of the carnival that we have put quite lively," he said. (Ap11/dal)
